Celebrate Mud Hens Opening Day 2022 in Downtown Toledo

It’s here! The biggest party in Toledo, the unofficial holiday of downtown Toledo – Mud Hens Opening Day! Get your Hens gear and meet us all around the field for a day of fun. We’ll see you all out there Tuesday, April 5.  

The Mud Hens have a variety of ticket options available including rooftop viewing. The fun starts well before the first pitch. The Hens have two parties slated, one under the Roost inside Fifth Third Field from 2:15pm – 3:45pm with DJ Jason Kelley, and the other in Hensville Park from 4 – 8pm with DJ Andrew Dartt. First pitch is at 4:05pm.

 

There is convenient parking near the ballpark. Head to the north side of the Glass City Center (formerly known as the SeaGate Convention Centre) for less congestion. It’s a short walk to the action. Our restaurants and pubs have all-day fun in store.

 

The Toledo Mud Hens are minor league baseball team affiliated with the Detroit Tigers. The Mud Hens moved to Fifth Third Field in downtown Toledo in 2002. They finished the 2021 season with a 74-56 record. They are playing a home stand against the Rochester Red Wings, an affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Come join the fun for “Opening Week” with games between April 5, 2022 – April 10, 2022.
