Toledo Jeep Fest is back! The weekend-long festival celebrating the Toledo-made vehicle is promising to be the best one yet. This year’s Jeep Fest is honoring the 80th year of Jeep being made in Toledo. With activities for the whole family to enjoy, this free festival is sure to be a blast.

Events are back and this year is shaping up to be great one! We are so thrilled to feel the excitement and energy in downtown. We've compiled a list of the big highlight events for the the remainder of the year so you can be sure to always be a part of the fun.

As a property owner, business owner, elected official, resident or individual who is passionate about downtown Toledo, you are invited to the Downtown Toledo Improvement District (DTID) open house known as Coffee Connections. These conversations will be held the last Wednesday of the quarter at Rustbelt Coffee between 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. You will have an opportunity to meet with DTID board members, staff from ConnecToledo and fellow neighbors to discuss activities impacting our workers, residents, visitors and investors.

We know it hasn’t been your average year, but we’ve had lots of fun and exciting things happen in downtown. Here are some new things to try that opened in the past six months.

Downtown will glow with the rockets red glare! The City of Toledo Fireworks in the 419 is on this year for Friday, July 2 and we’ve made a guide to help you navigate all the activities planned. Stop by your favorite downtown spot, get a drink in a DORA cup and explore.

What better way to enjoy a great summer than with live music outdoors?! Lunch at Levis and the One SeaGate Concert Series are back with a great line up!

There’s a new patio in town. The Garden at Focaccia’s officially opens Friday, June 25. The Garden is an extension to longtime downtown favorite, Focaccia’s Deli.

Lunch at Levis is back again for the 16th year in a row! We had a blast with you all last year, so it was a no-brainer that we’d come back this year with even more planned. Join us on Thursdays at the newly renovated Levis Square Park for the largest work-day event in downtown. Live entertainment, food trucks, games and other activities are highlights of the biggest event during the work week.

The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department is operating a vaccine clinics in various locations in downtown this week known as Shot For Shots. These clinics are free and open to the public to anyone over the age of 18.

Have you noticed the new planters in downtown’s core? ConnecToledo, in cooperation with the Downtown Toledo Improvement District, has strategically placed 60 new planters in historic Central Business District. We’re looking for volunteers to help plant flowers and beautify our sidewalks.
