Downtown is heating up as the weather cools down

The weather is cooling down but downtown is still hot with activity! Whether you’re looking for an artsy night out or something to do with the whole family – there are plenty of options to fit your needs.

 

There is plenty of fun to be had on the water! The Sandpiper is offering their Fall Color Cruises through October 25^th, their Cigar Cruise on October 27^th and their Halloween BOO! Cruise three times a day from October 28^th-31^st. Now head across the river to the National Museum of the Great Lakes for Boo on the Boat! Your little ones can trick or treat on the museum ship and tug boat beginning October 24^th- October 31^st.

 

For some more family fun, head to Fifth Third Field on October 30^th to see “Hocus Pocus”. The activities aren’t done yet. Get your little one dressed up for the Toledo Symphony Orchestra’s Halloween Spooktacular on October 25 at the Peristyle.

 

Halloween isn’t just for the kids! Grab a Halloween-themed drink from Toledo Spirits or participate in “Zooming through Beer” put on by the Valentine Theatre. Have dinner with the spirits that haunt the Oliver House with Medium Sierra LaPoint. If literature is more your thing, Registry Bistro has just the evening for you. Dinner with Poe takes place on Halloween and includes a five-course meal paired with a dramatic reading Edgar Allen Poe’s most famous stories by Jeffery Albright.
