Downtown Toledo Restaurants and Retail Are Open

Being open for business takes on a different meaning during the Stay At Home order. We’ve compiled a list of restaurants, coffee shops and retailers that are operating curbside, delivery or online allowing us to keep our distance.

PK Karamchandani, co-owner of the Balance Pan-Asian Grille chain and a member of the board of the Ohio Restaurant Association says, “North Carolina State University (along with the CDC, USDA, and FDA) just completed a FAQ Study on off-premises food service during the coronavirus, and concluded that there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted by food or food packaging. Take-out from your favorite restaurants is an approved and suggested activity while under quarantine, and a great way to bring some normalcy into our lives while supporting the community.”

Cindy Kerr, vice president of ConnecToledo Downtown Development Corporation, desires that households be intentional. “Supporting our restaurants and retailers during this time period will allow them to recover faster. Be intentional about supporting your favorite meal provider and tip the staff generously.”

Here’s the updated listing as of April 13, 2020.
