It’s time to shop! The lobby of the HCR building, or the Summit Center, is holding a pop-up retail market. The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce has brought in several local, minority owned vendors to have a presence in downtown this week and celebrate the Solheim Cup. Stop by this week from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Monday. The building is located at 333 N. Summit St and is accessible by entrance on St. Clair St. Parking can be easily found at the Superior Street Garage, 334 N. Superior Street.

You’ll have no problems getting downtown for all the fun. You can drive and park at any garage and lot in downtown except for the Summit Street Garage (21 N Summit St.) and The Depot Parking Garage (202 N Summit St.). The Solheim Cup is a biennial golf tournament contested by teams representing Europe and the United States. While the tournament will be held at Inverness Club, all off-course festivities will be held in downtown. Opening Ceremonies are on Friday, September 3 with the tournament ending Monday, September 6. 

It’s almost Pride weekend in Toledo! There is so much planned between the big event in Promenade and all the fun happening on Adams St, you’ll surely be busy. We’ve put together a schedule of everything going on. Please be advised that Pride is different his year. There will be no parade and the party in Promenade Park is a ticketed event happening in three different sessions. All three sessions are sold out.

Smile! A pop-up selfie museum is coming to downtown. The interactive space, called AList Selfie Experience, has a variety of fun backgrounds, or “selfie stations”, for people to get the perfect picture.

Toledo Jeep Fest is back! The weekend-long festival celebrating the Toledo-made vehicle is promising to be the best one yet. This year’s Jeep Fest is honoring the 80^th year of Jeep being made in Toledo. With activities for the whole family to enjoy, this free festival is sure to be a blast.
