The students at Children’s Discovery Center (CDC) created and presented a special gift for special guest, Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz. With the help of their teachers, the children made a clay mold and used resin to make Mayor Kapszukiewicz his very own key to the city. The key was meant to honor his dedication to early childhood education. In 1996, CDC founder Lois Rosenberry was gifted a key to the city by then mayor, Carty Finkbeiner.

We hope you’re hungry – the 10th annual Restaurant Week Toledo is upon us! The week-long food celebration supports Leadership Toledo’s tuition-free youth programs, while you get to enjoy the very best of our locally owned restaurants.
