Celebrate Mud Hens Opening Day 2023 in Downtown Toledo
For the first time since 2012, Toledo Mud Hens Opening Day is on a Friday! It’s already the biggest party in Toledo, but now it’s going to be even bigger! Get your Hens gear and meet us all around the field for a day of fun. We’ll see you all out there Friday, March 31.
Mud Hens
Take it all in from the rooftop of Fleetwood’s while the Mud Hens host their Opening Day Rooftop Buffet. This ticket package includes a game ticket, access to an all-you-can-eat buffet and access to Fleetwood’s Rooftop and the Armory. Tickets
Enjoy a specialty crafted drink on the Home Run Terrace inside Fifth Third Field while watching the first Mud Hens game of the season with the Opening Day Ticket + Drink Package. Tickets
First pitch is at 4:05pm.
Fiber + Strand
Check out downtown’s newest hair salon, Fiber + Strand, during their Opening Day Pop Up Shop! Fiber + Strand will be hosting Love The People Co. (an apparel company) and Amore Coffee Company. Open to the public, light refreshments provided from 12pm-4pm before the game.
Maumee Bay Brewing Company
Maumee Bay Brewing is releasing two new beers and throwing a party to celebrate Opening Day! The party will be held in the Maumee Bay Brewing Company Warehouse beginning at 1:00 pm and will include a DJ, food and beer, and will be streaming the Mud Hens game.
The two new beers:
Ballgame: a copper-colored ale with salted caramel and roasted peanuts
Broken Bat: Kölsch Ale; golden, light bodied ale with a clean lager like finish
Toledo Spirits Company
Enjoy a baseball themed Tasting & Tour at Toledo Spirits and HEAVY Beer Company the day before Opening Day! A variety of drinks will be available to sample including spirits, beer and a special “Home Run Punch.” The event goes from 6-8pm on Thursday, March 30. Tickets
