Temporary Downtown Toledo DORA expansion for Fire + Ice Festival

DORA is temporarily expanding to include Promenade Park for the entirety of ProMedica’s Fire + Ice Festival. Festival goers can purchase beverages from participating downtown establishments and take their drinks across Summit Street to Promenade Park in the designated DORA cups. Promenade Park runs along the riverfront from Jefferson Street to Cherry Street.

 

Fire + Ice is set to bring the heat to downtown with a fire breathing dragon, zip line, live music performances, fire eaters, games, food trucks, soup cook-off, fireworks and more! Find details here

 

In addition to Fire + Ice, One SeaSkate will be open for public skating. Located between One SeaGate and the Renaissance Hotel on the Maumee River waterfront, One SeaSkate is the only outdoor rink in downtown Toledo. Rentals are only $1.00 and 90-minute sessions are $2.00.

Hours:

Thursday: 5-8 p.m.

Friday: 5-11 p.m.

Saturday: 3-11 p.m.

 

Elevate the Stage is also in town this weekend attracting 1,000s of visitors. The gymnastics tournament will be at the SeaGate Convention Centre and consist of a club meet and a college meet with teams from the Big Ten Conference competing. Ticket and information can be found here.
