Vegans Rejoice! Leaf and Seed Opens in Downtown Toledo

They started out as an order ahead/pick up service in 2017, participated at Lunch At Levis in the summer of 2019 and today they opened their restaurant doors. Leaf and Seed is downtown’s only vegan/vegetarian restaurant. In just a few, short years Leaf and Seed grew from a home kitchen, to a food truck, to a brick and mortar restaurant and downtown Toledo supporter.

Chef and owner Susan Herhold picked the Davis Building, 116 10^th street, for Leaf and Seed’s new home. Located on the backside, you can easily access Leaf and Seed and its parking lot from 10^th Street, near Jefferson and Michigan. The restaurant is open Monday-Friday from 7a-2p and Saturday from 8a-4p and offers breakfast, handhelds, shareables, salads, juices and more! Find more information on them here.
