Walleye Games Offer Winter Things To Do

The ice is primed, FINatics fill the seats eagerly awaiting the famous fog horn, the lights dim and, finally, the Toledo Walleye take the ice. It’s hockey season in downtown Toledo!

 

The Toledo Walleye bring excitement and anticipation to downtown with their record-setting talent and fans. Last year alone, 20 sellout games, 51 wins, and the number of consecutive victories set records for the Walleye. But they didn’t stop there! The Walleye also led the league with 302 goals.

 

A Walleye game is always a great excuse to check out what else is happening downtown. Over 60 restaurants offer plenty of options for a pre-game dinner. The fun continues once the ice has been cleared with post-game activities, such as an open skate or party with the players, or a night out at one of downtown’s pubs.

 

Don’t let parking keep you from the excitement. Both on-street parking and garages are available within walking distance of the arena. Parking garage include the Port Lawrence Garage at 227 N. St. Clair (Jefferson and St. Clair), Summit St. Garage at 245 N. Summit (Jefferson and Summit) or the SeaGate Centre Garage.
