The Solheim Cup is a biennial golf tournament contested by teams representing Europe and the United States. While the tournament will be held at Inverness Club, all off-course festivities will be held in downtown. Opening Ceremonies are on Friday, September 3 with the tournament ending Monday, September 6. 

It’s almost Pride weekend in Toledo! There is so much planned between the big event in Promenade and all the fun happening on Adams St, you’ll surely be busy. We’ve put together a schedule of everything going on. Please be advised that Pride is different his year. There will be no parade and the party in Promenade Park is a ticketed event happening in three different sessions. All three sessions are sold out.

Smile! A pop-up selfie museum is coming to downtown. The interactive space, called AList Selfie Experience, has a variety of fun backgrounds, or “selfie stations”, for people to get the perfect picture.

Toledo Jeep Fest is back! The weekend-long festival celebrating the Toledo-made vehicle is promising to be the best one yet. This year’s Jeep Fest is honoring the 80th year of Jeep being made in Toledo. With activities for the whole family to enjoy, this free festival is sure to be a blast.

Events are back and this year is shaping up to be great one! We are so thrilled to feel the excitement and energy in downtown. We've compiled a list of the big highlight events for the the remainder of the year so you can be sure to always be a part of the fun.

As a property owner, business owner, elected official, resident or individual who is passionate about downtown Toledo, you are invited to the Downtown Toledo Improvement District (DTID) open house known as Coffee Connections. These conversations will be held the last Wednesday of the quarter at Rustbelt Coffee between 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. You will have an opportunity to meet with DTID board members, staff from ConnecToledo and fellow neighbors to discuss activities impacting our workers, residents, visitors and investors.

We know it hasn’t been your average year, but we’ve had lots of fun and exciting things happen in downtown. Here are some new things to try that opened in the past six months.

Downtown will glow with the rockets red glare! The City of Toledo Fireworks in the 419 is on this year for Friday, July 2 and we’ve made a guide to help you navigate all the activities planned. Stop by your favorite downtown spot, get a drink in a DORA cup and explore.

What better way to enjoy a great summer than with live music outdoors?! Lunch at Levis and the One SeaGate Concert Series are back with a great line up!

There’s a new patio in town. The Garden at Focaccia’s officially opens Friday, June 25. The Garden is an extension to longtime downtown favorite, Focaccia’s Deli.
