The board of directors from both ConnecToledo Downtown Development Corporation and the Downtown Toledo Improvement District hosted the Annual Downtown Toledo Update. Attendees learned about recently completed projects along with 2022 anticipated activities.

As a property owner within the Downtown Toledo Improvement District’s 2021 – 2025 boundaries, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 2021 Annual Meeting. The meeting will take place via two options on Tuesday, November 16th at 4:30 p.m.

Looking for something to do after too many months indoors? Downtown Toledo provides many opportunities for visiting famous institutions, as well as enjoying first class entertainment and education. Whether a first time visitor or a resident, there is something for everyone!

It’s time to welcome the Walleye back to the Huntington Center. To kick off this most exciting season opener, the Toledo Walleye have planned an awesome pre-game party. Between 2-6 p.m., celebrate the new Walleye season on Huron St. along the side of the Huntington Center’s Aquarium. This party is open to the public, no game or party ticket required, and will feature live music and speakers.

ConnecToledo has received the coveted Award of Excellence for their Downtown Toledo Master Plan at the International Downtown Association’s (IDA) annual conference. Receiving the award in the Planning, Design, and Infrastructure category, was Cindy Kerr, vice president.

The nights are cooling down, but the fun is heating up! ConnecToledo had such a blast with our weekly lunchtime events in Levis Square Park, that we want to continue the fun on select Friday nights! Join us for the first evening concert series called Levis Under the Lights.

Downtown Toledo offers the opportunity to experience world-class fine arts. The 2021-2022 seasons are kicking off now with a variety of performances and exhibitions that appeal to everyone: families, date nights, music connoisseurs and others. Whether you are visiting a Toledo institution that has been entertaining audiences for generations or checking out the latest and diverse artistic expression available to local audiences, we have plenty of entertainment options available for you to enjoy.

Labor Day signals the end of summer, but the weather doesn’t seem to care and we’ve got plenty planned for this weekend! With a wide variety of fun options, we know you’ll have a blast down here with us. We’ve pulled some of our highlight events out for you to browse.

 

It’s time to shop! The lobby of the HCR building, or the Summit Center, is holding a pop-up retail market. The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce has brought in several local, minority owned vendors to have a presence in downtown this week and celebrate the Solheim Cup. Stop by this week from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Monday. The building is located at 333 N. Summit St and is accessible by entrance on St. Clair St. Parking can be easily found at the Superior Street Garage, 334 N. Superior Street.

You’ll have no problems getting downtown for all the fun. You can drive and park at any garage and lot in downtown except for the Summit Street Garage (21 N Summit St.) and The Depot Parking Garage (202 N Summit St.).
