He’s out and on the loose! The Downtown Toledo Elf is running all over downtown and we need your help identifying his location. If you can correctly name each place for this Facebook contest, you will be entered to win a prize pack! Our Elf will be getting into mischief in downtown December 7 – December 23.

This year, supporting local when doing your holiday shopping is more important than ever. Downtown Toledo is home to many small businesses, so we decided to compile a list of retailers to help you get your shopping done! Remember that restaurant gift cards also make great gifts while supporting our locally-owned favorites.

The Downtown Toledo Improvement District (DTID), in cooperation with ConnecToledo Downtown Development Corporation, held their Annual Meeting on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 and gave an update on past, current and future progress.

Our restaurants are our backbone in downtown. We need them and they need you. Maybe you’re not having your traditional Thanksgiving this year or maybe you’re just over cooking, our restaurants are here to serve you. Whether you’re eating in, want to pick something up or end up getting delivery – you’ll find something to fit your needs.

After the year we’ve had, we think you deserve to take it easy this Thanksgiving – and luckily so do our restaurants! As the cool weather approaches, the Southern food scene in downtown will warm you right up! We’ve gathered a list of some great tasting Southern food we think you’ll love.

Downtown just got a whole lot more colorful! Thanks to the Momentum Arts Festival, put on by the Arts Commission, we have five new murals along our riverfront. Three can be seen from outside on Water Street and two inside the Citiwalk Tunnels.

The weather is cooling down but downtown is still hot with activity! Whether you’re looking for an artsy night out or something to do with the whole family – there are plenty of options to fit your needs.

Summit Street looks a little different these days. The mass construction is due to the replacement of the water main. The construction began in May 2020 and has an estimated completion date of July 2021. The completed Summit Street will also have lots of aesthetic enhancements.
