Toledo is home to some pretty great food and some very talented chefs. It’s really no wonder that three of our downtown chefs have been nominated for Bon Appetite Magazine’s Fav Chef competition! The winner of the competition will be featured in Bon Appetite Magazine and will win a cash grand prize. We couldn’t be more proud to have such a strong showing.

It’s that time of year again, that six week stretch that kicks off on a cold Wednesday and ends on a hopefully sunny Easter Sunday. It’s during this time that restaurant menus begin to change and offer more seafood options for this Lenten season. Downtown property and business owners, you are invited to the Downtown Toledo Improvement District (DTID) open house known as Coffee Connections. These conversations will be held the last Wednesday of the quarter at Rustbelt Coffee between 7:30-9:00a. You will have an opportunity to meet with DTID board members, staff from ConnecToledo and fellow neighbors to discuss activities impacting our workers, residents, visitors, and investors.

Beginning today, Monday, January 4, the following on-street parking changes will go into effect.

Promenade Park is so festive this time of year! The lights, the tree, the tunnel – we love it all and want to see your pictures there. Simply come on down and take a picture with the lights and tag us (@DowntownToledo) in the photo on Instagram. A first and second place winner will be selected by a panel of local photographers.
