A class taking place at The Standard CrossFit

Did you make a New Year’s resolution to exercise more or get fit this year? We want to see you stick to it this year, so we’ve compiled a list of all the places downtown to help you reach your goal!

The Standard CrossFit

Brand new to the downtown scene, The Standard CrossFit seeks to make you the best version of yourself. Classes are currently offered at 6:30 a.m., noon and 5:00 p.m. Each class is led by owner Ben Olin where he finds a way to make sure that whatever your fitness level is, every participant feels like they’ve all had the same workout. Each hour-long class begins with talking through the workout, a warm-up, practice of each aspect of the workout to ensure correct form, the actual workout and finally a 5-minute stretching period.  In addition to fitness, Ben provides nutrition advice for healthy living. “If you change your diet to just eating real food that naturally occurs, you’re going to be well ahead of the game,” said Olin. They are in the arcade level of the Summit Street Parking Garage at Summit and Jefferson.  Ready to try The Standard? Click here for more information.
